Bauernherbstfest - Gastein farmers’ Autumn festival
In in Salzburger Land, Bauernherbst is a very special time of year, bringing together locals and guests with entertaining events and traditional festivals, such as a folk music walk, local music evenings, open farm afternoons, herb walks, and the “Dirndl-Gwandl-Sonntag” traditional dress Sunday. These festivals always spoil you with regional culinary specialities.
Gastein events in winter
Exciting sports events such as for example the FIS Snowboard World Cup in January, ice climbing, or the “Snow Jazz Gastein” jazz concert in the snow in March. Over the course of winter, as part of the Art on Snow event in Gastein, works of art are created both on the ski pistes and also in the resorts.
