The Alpe-Adria-Trail – A long-distance hiking between Austria, Slovenia and Italy
750 km and 43 stages – that is the Alpe-Adria-Trail, connecting the three regions of Carinthia, Slovenia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. This long-distance hiking trail proceeds on very well signposted hiking trails through idyllic mountain and lake scenery, passing historic sights and natural features. Since the trail is predominantly on non-Alpine terrain and has only slight differences in altitude, it is ideal for all ages and ability levels. The stages are around 20 km in length, and take around 6 hours to walk. Hikers will enjoy plenty of impressive points in the landscape; magical energy-filled areas, featuring where the 4 elements - fire, water, earth and air - are in harmony, inviting you to stop for a while and reflect.
Before heading out on the Alpe Adria Trail and enjoying an invigorating journey for your mind, soul and spirit, you really get to relax in DAS ALPENHAUS GASTEINERTAL / DAS ALPENHAUS KAPRUN with wonderful massages, Yoga courses and sauna sessions.
