The most famous and beautiful panoramic road in Europe, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, is found at the foot of the highest mountain in Austria. The 48km long road within the Hohe Tauern National Park takes you up to 2,571m above sea level, ending at the longest glacier in the Eastern Alps, the Pasterze.
