Yoga Retreat for Mindful Movement, Inner Calm & Renewed Energy
Surrounded by the mountain scenery of the Gastein Valley, this summer retreat combines mindful movement, precise bodywork and conscious breathing. The yoga practice creates space to develop a deeper awareness of the body, slow down and step into summer with renewed lightness and energy.
At the heart of the retreat is an alignment-focused asana practice, with different areas of the body taking centre stage throughout the sessions. Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga provide a calming counterbalance, supporting relaxation and regeneration. Breathing and meditation practices complement the sessions and encourage presence and inner balance.
Optional easy hikes offer the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Gastein Valley. Between sessions, there is plenty of time to enjoy the spa, nature and some well-deserved time for yourself.
A summer retreat balancing movement and stillness, mindful alignment and regeneration – ideal for discovering yoga as well as deepening an existing practice.
Suitable for all yoga levels.
RETREAT LEADER: Astrid Wiesmayr
Astrid has been teaching Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga according to Judith Hanson Lasater, and mindfulness meditation since 2007. Elements of Spiraldynamik and Svastha Yoga Therapy complement her holistic approach.
Her classes combine precise alignment with anatomically mindful movement and conscious body awareness. The practice ranges from subtle, refined movements to strengthening asanas and deeply restorative sequences.
Astrid’s teaching style is calm, clear and well-founded. At the heart of her approach is a mindful practice that supports mobility, stability and body awareness while creating space for relaxation and inner calm.
